The fundamentals of communications are message, medium, and audience.  They’re the essence of what I provide for my clients.

I’ve spent most of my career working for, or within, corporations, but the message-medium-audience triad is universal. I’ve also worked in other arenas, including non-profits and politics, along with a few other areas that aren’t easily categorized. Along the way, I’ve learned that the basic elements of sound communications don’t really change.

I’ve been working as a communications professional for over 15 years. My career has encompassed media relations, crisis management, strategic planning, and employee communications. I’ve worked for a variety of industries, particularly in transportation, including aviation, ocean shipping and most recently, a bus manufacturer. I’ve also worked for national companies in real estate and fast food, as well as several local businesses selling retail products from jewelry to weight-loss programs.

Before kids, I used to love to travel, and someday I am sure I’ll love it again…but with two little people in tow, not so much. I’m passionate about politics and sometimes find the time to do something about it.

Our Life Together

We live in Boulder, Colorado with our two children, our big dog, and two cats. We love Boulder for its access to the outdoors, our luscious garden, the unique collection of kind and excellent people, and an excellent bike path system.
